2025 Year in Review: Scaling digital care across Europe
During the year, our digital care platform supported nationwide public healthcare deployments, expanded into new European markets, and delivered measurable results in cost efficiency and care quality. Read the CEO’s annual recap of the year.
As 2025 ends, it’s clear this has been a pivotal year for digital care, and for BeeHealthy. Our customers continued to advance digital-first care, our platform matured further, and our presence expanded across Europe and the Middle East.
More people than ever accessed care through BeeHealthy-powered solutions this year. Across public health and social care, private providers, and new market segments, our customers designed and implemented digital care pathways that demonstrate how scalable, high-quality digital care can strengthen healthcare systems over time.
Here’s a look back at the milestones that shaped 2025, and what lies ahead.
Delivering digital care at scale: adoption, outcomes, and trust
From nationwide adoption in Finland to new European markets
During the year, we delivered several significant customer deployments across Finland. Six additional Wellbeing Services Counties – South Karelia, Kymenlaakso, Central Finland, Central Uusimaa, Western Uusimaa, and Northern Savonia – deployed the BeeHealthy platform. Together with earlier adopters, over 50% of the Finnish population now access their public health and social care services through BeeHealthy-powered applications.
The commitment these public regions have shown to digital development reflects a long-term, systematic approach to building scalable and accessible public social and healthcare services.
Beyond Finland, BeeHealthy expanded into new European markets. We entered Norway and Lithuania as new countries and expanded the platform into the insurance and veterinary care segments. This demonstrates the flexibility of our platform across different care models and regulatory environments.
Finnish Student Health Service selects BeeHealthy
In 2025, the Finnish Student Health Service selected the BeeHealthy platform to support the delivery of digital social and healthcare services for students across Finland. This selection is particularly meaningful, as it supports digitally native students with high expectations for accessible, seamless care.
The deployment will launch in 2026, bringing modern digital healthcare to students nationwide. This selection is a strong endorsement of the platform’s scalability, reliability, and ability to serve large and diverse populations.

New study: digital consultations reduce healthcare costs by 23%
A new study from Harjun Terveys, providing public primary care services in the public region of Päijät-Häme and using BeeHealthy since 2021, showed that digital consultations treat common illnesses effectively, while reducing public primary healthcare costs by about 23% compared with traditional phone or urgent in-person services. The study also showed that digitally treated patients did not require more follow-up visits and required fewer referrals for laboratory and imaging services, indicating that remote care can streamline clinical pathways without compromising care quality.
Outstanding results with digital care plans
Digital care plans have become a central part of how BeeHealthy’s customers design and deliver modern care pathways. Across Wellbeing Services Counties, more than 170 digital care plans are already in use or in planning, covering a wide range of needs such as pregnancy and childbirth, surgical pathways, collaboration between primary and specialised care, long-term illness management, social care processes, and preventive self-care. These care plans make it easier for patients to actively manage their health while enabling professionals to provide timely, continuous support.
Among the many digital care plans our customers have developed on the BeeHealthy platform, the Wellbeing Services County of Päijät-Häme launched a digital care plan for gestational diabetes in 2025. Early results from this care plan are highly encouraging: 87% of patients and 89% of healthcare professionals reported high satisfaction, highlighting the plan’s clarity, accessibility, and support for continuous care. The results demonstrate how well-designed digital pathways can improve care experiences for families during a critical phase of life.
Enhancing the BeeHealthy platform
Introducing Taika: Our suite of agentic AI tools
In 2025, we introduced Taika, our new suite of AI tools designed to help care professionals document care more efficiently and consistently across communication channels such as chat, video, and phone. Taika listens and structures clinical information automatically into patient journal entry drafts, allowing professionals to spend less time typing and more time caring.
Modernising core modules
Throughout the year, our product and engineering teams continued to improve key parts of the platform. We renewed the platform’s Care plan module with a more intuitive interface that improves usability and supports faster future development. Accessibility was improved across the digital experience, particularly in forms and surveys. Online booking was further refined with smarter filtering and availability logic, helping users find appropriate appointments more easily.
These updates are driven by close collaboration with customers and a clear focus on operational usability.
Strengthening scalability and reliability
Alongside visible product improvements, we continued investing in the platform’s technical foundations. The teams improved performance, stability, and reliability, ensuring the platform remains robust as customer usage grows across countries and care models.

Building connections across Europe and the Middle East
In 2025, BeeHealthy participated in over 20 conferences and industry events across Europe and the Middle East. These included DMEA and the BMVZ Practitioner Congress in Berlin, Vitalis in Gothenburg, HLTH Europe in Amsterdam, MENA Telehealth in Riyadh, and the Finnish Healthcare ICT Conference in Jyväskylä.
These events provided valuable opportunities to exchange experiences with care leaders and to contribute to discussions on patient engagement, preventive care, and the future of remote and hybrid care models.

Strengthening the BeeHealthy team
During the year, we welcomed 14 new colleagues, bringing us to a team of over 100 talented professionals across Europe. And to support our growing presence in the DACH region, we opened a new office in Berlin, strengthening our ability to work closely with customers in this important market.
Also, this year marked BeeHealthy’s fifth anniversary. What began as a bold vision has grown into an international SaaS platform that now serves millions of patients and customers across 12 countries, powering digital front doors for leading care providers.
2025 wrapped
For BeeHealthy, 2025 has been a year of steady growth and continued learning. As we enter the new year, our mission remains unchanged: to support care organisations in making care smarter, more accessible, and more sustainable through digital front doors that enhance access to care.
I would like to thank our customers, partners, and team for their trust and collaboration throughout the year. Your work and commitment continue to shape everything we build.
We look forward to 2026, and to making high-quality digital healthcare accessible to everyone.
