Role at BeeHealthy

Oskari Eskola is responsible for Mehiläinen's new geographical markets (currently Sweden and Germany) as well as the digital platform business BeeHealthy. Starting in this role in 2020, Mehiläinen had no revenues outside of Finland, but has quickly accumulated over €100m in revenues internationally. At Mehiläinen, Oskari has previously managed the dental business. Before Mehiläinen, Oskari had an international career in private equity at Triton and in management consulting at Bain & Company.

Role at BeeHealthy

Sampo Oksanen is responsible for commercialisation of BeeHealthy's platform, SuomiSote, in Finland and digital solutions for chronic care patients globally. Prior joining Mehiläinen/BeeHealthy, Sampo was a Senior Manager at Nordic Healthcare Group, a leading management consultancy in Health Care and Life Science in Nordics. In that role, Sampo helped clients in both public and private sector. Sampo's (M. Sc. in Economics) academic research has focused on COVID-19 on which he has published multiple peer-reviewed articles.

Fun fact

To avoid becoming a chronic care patient himself, Sampo has set up a walking pad underneath his electric standing desk, which helps him to reach +10k steps also during a home office day.

How do I relax

Cross-country skiing in the peaceful & cold winter scene is the ultimate way to unwind for Sampo. Additionally, he loves reading as well as playing tennis and boardgames with friends and family

As a healthcare specialist and entrepreneur, Ron Liebkind has built several modern healthcare companies that has made healthcare delivery more accessible. Ron has influenced e-health and m-health since 2010. He was owner and Chief Medical Officer of Sibyllekliniken in Stockholm, that became a first strategic acquisition in the end of 2020 for the Mehiläinen (Meliva) group in Sweden. Since then he has worked as Chief Medical Officer and supported several growth areas within Meliva Sweden.
