With the certificate, BeeHealthy can officially prove that the functionality meets the highest requirements for data protection and information security.
BeeHealthy is pleased to announce the attainment of TÜVIT certification for its video consultation functionality in Germany. The certification underscores BeeHealthy’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of data protection and information security in digital healthcare services as well as compliance to the standards according to Annex 31b of the Federal Master Contract for Physicians in panel doctors based on Section 365 of the German Social Security Code, Book V.
In compliance with German regulations, the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds, along with federal service provider organisations, requires that providers of video consultations and telemedical services demonstrate adherence to strict data protection and information security protocols. BeeHealthy entrusted TÜVIT, a respected certification authority, to conduct a thorough evaluation of its compliance with these standards.
The certification process involved rigorous testing of BeeHealthy’s information technology security measures. TÜVIT’s experts performed penetration tests to assess security robustness, followed by an audit using the Trusted Site Video Consultation (TSVC) and Trusted Site Data Protection (TSDP) testing and certification process. The audit focused on the IT infrastructure pertinent to video communication, emphasising data transmission and encryption protocols.
